  9.   I read several requirements for pie charts, and it's seems that an up-to-date
  10. program doesn't exist today in the public domain (fchart is too archaic).

  12.   Here is a simple way to realize hight quality, very customizable,
  13. grayscaled or
  14. colored PostScript pie charts.

  16.   It's an AWK program, and it use LaTeX and PostScript, via the splendid
  17. PSTricks
  18. package of Timothy Van Zandt (thanks Timothy!) - this program was inspired by
  19. one of the Timothy's examples.

  23.   Here I give the AWK program with two examples data files, and a little
  24. PostScript
  25. file, which is the result of the examples.
